YouthBuild | Northshore Magazine
For the September issue of Northshore Magazine I had the chance to photograph the participants of Youthbuild. I had actually met some of the folks involved with Youthbuild for a previous shoot and was very curious to head to a worksite to see things in action. I drove to Lawrence, MA one hot July afternoon and met some kids putting together a house. Youthbuild is an opportunity for young adults to learn carpentry skills (think drywall installation, framing, etc) while at the same time attending classes to obtain their GED. It's a pretty awesome program that really provides hard skills. I was super impressed. To learn more, read the article by Jeff Harder for Northshore.
