KRISTIN + NICK | BOSTON COLLEGE CLUB WEDDING, BOSTON
Watching two people come together in marriage is at the top of my favorite-things-in-life list and seeing Kristin and Nick on their wedding day, so clearly perfect for each other, didn’t disappoint. Both share such a kind spirit, wonderful sense of humor and love for family. I’m only sad that their day came to an end and I won’t have their nuptials to look forward to anymore! Hopefully they will want to still hang out with me with the occasional drink at Cafeteria and tree climb on the Esplanade.
Celebrating their wedding in Boston, all of the logistics were perfectly mapped out seamlessly so the day was a breeze for guests. I met Kristin at the Hilton, Back Bay in the Presidential Suite. There I was able to photograph her exquisite Vera Wang gown, bridesmaids getting ready and a well-executed prank. I’ll let you ask Kristin for details—let’s just say I’m inspired and totally admire her handiwork! From there, it was a quick walk over to the Saint Cecilia Parish. I loved how Kristin and Nick involved their families in the service. Next, with a hop on the trolley we were off to take formal photos in Post Office Square, finishing up just in time before a strong winds and a few sprinkles rolled in. Their reception was held at the Boston College Club on the 36 Floor. With some of the best views of the city, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour followed by some truly tearjerker speeches. I’m sure there weren’t many dry eyes in the room following her father’s toast. The evening was capped off with DJ Scott Benowicz supplying the tunes for the dance floor. Kristin and Nick, I send along my congratulations and love!
