Erin and Dave | Alden Castle, Brookline

Erin and Dave are one of those couples that  I connected with immediately. Maybe it was their sense of humor or love of dogs (you’ll have to ask about Pablo) that had me thrilled to be their photographer. Their wedding was at the tail end of October on a warm Saturday. A day or two later and we would have been disrupted by the hurricane. But luck was on our side and we were able to take advantage of the sun and the beautiful foliage for a few family photos.

We started in Cambridge with hair styling by Daleen from Pyara Salon and makeup by Lucine. Once all of the prep was finished, we headed over to Alden Castle in Brookline, just a short 15 minute drive way. At Alden Castle, the festivities began with a service in the ballroom officiated by Erin and Dave’s friends. At one point, Erin’s sisters couldn’t keep in the  tears and giggles anymore– check out this shot below! The evening was expertly run by the staff of Longwood Events and DJ Brother Cleve had me bopping to his great tunes.
