Clair + Cliff | Hamilton College Wedding, Clinton, New York

I’ll admit that I cry at most weddings but at Cliff and Clair’s wedding I found myself tearing up at so many moments it may have been a personal record. From the beginning of the day when Clair’s Dad saw her for the first time in her dress, to the touching speeches by Annie, Matthew and Clair’s father, I’m sure I wasn’t alone feeling tears of joy for these two.

Starting my day with Clair in the Bristol, located on Hamilton College campus, I was able to get some photos of her and her bridesmaids. Then, we ventured outside for photos on the green. Side note: Hamilton is just an exquisite campus! Check out those grounds and beautiful architecture. From there, I moved down to the Rogers to photograph Cliff, his groomsmen and his family. I want to go to dinner with Cliff’s family because the fun and jokes (“Turn the pilot back on, Mom!”) seem like a really good time! Next up was Clair and Cliff’s first look. Huge thanks to best man, Michael, for helping to execute this moment!  With a few more photos of the couple, it was time for the ceremony. Dana, the couple’s close friend, officiated a perfect ceremony in the campus chapel. With just a quick walk from the chapel, the reception and cocktail hour was then held outside of the Bristol. The DJ, Cindy Ormand, was a total pro and kept the dance floor grooving all night. Seeing Clair and Cliff being raised to the roof by their friends at the end of the evening seemed like the perfect finish to such a great day.
